KTM HMC’s Kurt Nicoll got a measure of revenge in the final AMA PPG Supermoto Unlimited race of the season, bouncing back from his Saturday DNF to score his second win on the season.
The 2004 class champion shot into the lead on the opening lap aboard his KTM 560SMR and never looked back, opening up a six-second plus advantage in the eight-lap contest before backing down and cruising to the checkered flag on the final lap.
Kurt Nicoll races like a youngster and trains like a demon… the results? He has been on the box in every race he has run in 2007 except when his engine blew due to bad gas. He won the last race of the season by running away and hiding from the competition.

Five standout riders have been nominated to receive the prestigious AMA Pro Racing SPEED Athlete of the Year award which will be presented at the AMA Pro Racing Championship Awards Banquet this Sunday, Nov. 18. Dating back to 1976, the award is the highest honor bestowed to a professional motorcycle racer competing in AMA-sanctioned racing.
