Round 9 - Kunzel Gets 5th, 5th & 5th»

Team Red Bull KTM HMC factory Supermoto racers had a solid but frustrating day on Saturday’s night race at the Music City Motorplex. The racers were in the hunt but couldn’t close on the red and blue riders.

Carlson Makes Music in Nashville»

Carlson Leaves Nashville with 4 points in the Lead

What a day Benny Carlson had. He was running up front in practice when he broke a transmission. Team Manager, Elliot Cho, moved the suspension from the primary bike to the backup 560 racer. Carlson went slower in qualifications than in practice by a tenth. When he returned to the pits, Elliot decided to get him back on his primary KTM 610 bike by giving it a heart transplant.

Lewis Goes Flag to Flag

Johnny Lewis pegged the time charts in 5th place on promoter’s day practice. On race day his riding got smoother while he became more comfortable with his mount. On the second qualification session he took pole position.
