Round 8 - Kunzel Leaves in 5th Place
Jurgen Kunzel Holds the KTM Flag High at Round 8
It was a wet and sloppy night at the 8th round of the AMA Supermoto Championship. Jurgen Kunzel in Moto 1 and Moto 2 kept his nose clean and ran a smart race. In both races, he placed the works KTM Motorcycle on the podium in 3rd place.
On His Second Podium
Kunzel talks about his second podium of the evening: “I was a little bit angry Mark got by with just two or three laps to go. After the race I think maybe I could have held him. But it was a good weekend for me. I didn’t crash and twice I finished on the podium. I saw Henry fall and Fillmore too, so for me to stay up was really good.”
