Johnny Slips and Slides in Denver
Round 7 of the AMA Supermoto Unlimited contest will be remembered for the wet and slippery conditions.
During the heated contest Johnny hit the ground twice. Each time he pulled the clutch in cranked on the throttle. This allowed him to hop on his mount and rejoin the fight without having to kick start the bike.
Rain made the surface like ice. And since the racers run either a slick or a cut slick, traction was at a premium the entire race.
