Mitch Wright Runs Miller Motorsports
Mitch Wright is in charge of the racing facilities at Miller Motorsports Park. His enthusiasm for all things motorsports exudes from him.
After he found out that Jeff Ward is in his age range, you could tell by the glint in his eye that sooner rather than later he will be throwing a leg over these two-wheeled devils.
Wright is a championship winning race driver, a highly-respected race car builder and developer, and the architect of the SCCA World Challenge racing series’ rise to prominence. He will play a major role in Miller’s development of regional and club level car racing. Wright will also oversee the operation of Miller’s major event schedule, which in 2006 will include AMA Superbikes Thunder Run, the ALMS/SCCA World Challenge Utah Grand Prix, the Historic Sportscar Racing Heroes of Speed, and the Grand Am SunChaser 9-Hour.
Wright is the lead for all racing and competitive activities; including karting, motorcycle racing, solo and autocross competition, race schools, track drive activities and safety management.
An accomplished and active karter, Wright will be a welcome addition to the Utah motor sports scene and an important factor in its development onto the national motor sports stage. Wright will assume his position in Salt Lake City on January 2, 2006.
