Bailey

Due to the positive response of its recent “Legends” ad campaign, Dunlop Motorcycle Tires will offer a series of high-quality collector-edition Legends posters, with the net proceeds benefiting injured riders through the Clayton Memorial Foundation. Printed in black and white on heavy 19 x 26 inch art paper, this limited run of ten suitable-for-framing posters immortalizes legendary motorcycle racing champions: David Bailey, Yvon Duhamel, Broc Glover, Bob Hannah, Kent Howerton, Rick Johnson, Wayne Rainey, Kenny Roberts, Bubba Shobert and Jeff Ward.

Produced by Dunlop’s advertising agency, Vreeke & Associates, these historic black-and-white posters feature images-captured by photographers Paul Buckley, Bill Delaney, Gold & Goose, Dave Hawkins, and Ken Vreeke-that pay tribute to some of the greatest racers in our sport.

“Dunlop has supported some of the most legendary racers in history, and this is a great opportunity to give back to the sport through the Clayton Memorial Foundation,” said Dunlop Vice President Mike Buckley.

These high-quality, collectible posters are available for $29.95 for a single poster or $24.95 each for multiple posters, and may be purchased through the Cycle News Web site at www.cyclenews.com or by calling (714) 751-7433. Don’t miss this opportunity to own a slice of motorcycle racing history while helping our fellow riders.

About the Clayton Foundation

In 1989, Charles and Sharon Clayton, the founders of America’s weekly motorcycle newspaper, Cycle News, established the Clayton Memorial Foundation to provide financial assistance to motorcycle riders injured while racing. Since the inception of the foundation, this non-profit charity has disbursed thousands of dollars to injured racers in need. Most of these riders had nowhere to turn once their insurance funds had run out and the benefits contributed by their friends and support groups were used up.

The mission of the Clayton Memorial Foundation is to continue providing financial aid to riders who are injured in competitions sanctioned by organizations that are, in sole opinion of the Board of Directors, bonafide motorcycle sanctioning bodies.
